In this episode, I’ve decided to show off one of my favorite pieces of equipment in my studio. My Heil PR40 microphone was recommended by Leo Leporte. I’m using this episode to show the MAJOR difference in the audio between cheap microphones as they compare to the Heil PR-40 sound.

Ok I would love to have a PR 40 , but the wife would kill me if I even thought about thinking of buying one, so what can I get that wont break the bank , I’m using a Behringer C-1 right now and would love to up grade. and suggestions?

I don’t have a recommendation for you just yet. However, I’m waiting for some feedback to come in on some other folks use of their favorite mics and they may have some great feedback with some suggestions for you.

I have been listening to your podcast for awhile and I like it. Good tips. I’ve been podcasting for about 2 years. I’ve wanted a PR-40 for awhile overtime at work and your show pushed me over the edge, I would have bought it from you but I have a close friend and he got me the $299 deal. Anyway I’ve been working really long hours and have not had a chance to use it yet but I’m dying to. Keep up the good work.
